Our riverside cabins sit close to the River Alwen, offering a lovely place to come back to after a day outside — warm, sheltered, and still close to nature.

They’re a good option if you enjoy being outdoors but want the comfort of proper beds, heating and a solid roof.

The pub is just a short walk away for meals, drinks and a place to unwind, and the river and woodland are right on your doorstep.

Kingfisher cabin (5+ people)

The Kingfisher cabin sleeps up to 5, with the option to add up to 2 additional guests for an extra fee - please contact us in advance if you want to add additional guests. Beds include:

  • 1 x single sofa bed

  • No, access to the campsite is via a shallow ford across the river, which is only suitable for cars, small campervans and small trailers.

  • Unfortunately we cannot dogs on and around the campsite for hygiene and safety reasons, however well behaved dogs are more than welcome in the pub.

  • We are currently constructing a communal shower block available for guests in 2026.

  • No, this is a non-electric, back-to-nature campsite.

  • Yes, the pub has sockets for charging and wi-fi you are welcome to use.

  • our pitches are snug, especially by the river. If you’d like extra space or a more tucked-away feel, our forest floor pitches or cabins offer more privacy.

  • We keep a small stock of essentials, including:

    • Kiln-dried logs, firelighters, kindling

    • Giant marshmallows and skewers

    • Bottled beers

    • Crisps and snacks

    • Fresh food e.g. bread, milk, eggs and bacon

  • Yes , as long as it’s raised off the ground to protect the grass.

  • The Wi-Fi signal is limited in the fields, but you can access Wi-Fi in the pub.

  • The cabins use the same toilets and showers as the campsite.
