What you’ll find here

Our 2-4 person bell tents are non-electric and include:

  • Futons that can sleep up to 4 people – please get in touch ahead of time so we can tailor your setup to you

  • Bed linens, rugs, blankets and soft furnishing

Guests also have access to:

  • Shared toilets

  • Communal men’s and women’s’ showers (available from April 2026)

  • Explore local activities from free fishing, walks, animal interactions, pub events and more.

  • A small camp shop for kiln-dried logs and a few essentials

  • WiFi and phone charging available in the pub

*Base price includes stay for 2 people. Additional people are charged at £5 per person. Max occupancy is 4. Prices and availability are always kept up to date on Pitchup.

Good to know before you arrive

  • There is car parking available nearby - limited to 1 space per booking.

  • We don’t allow dogs due to livestock on-site.

  • Music is welcome during the daytime if kept low and for personal listening only. All music is turned off by 7.00pm so everyone on the campsite can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.

  • Campfires must be raised off the ground to protect the grass. Firepits are available to hire - just ask at the pub.

  • Please don’t cut or collect trees, bushes or foliage for firewood.

  • To respect the environment and the Welsh Clean Air Plan, only kiln-dried wood may be used in fire pits.

  • You can pre-book breakfast from the pub if you want to skip the hassle of cooking.

  • This is a leave-no-trace campsite, so please take your rubbish home with you.

    These small things help keep the site safe, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.

  • No, access to the campsite is via a shallow ford across the river, which is only suitable for cars, small campervans and small trailers.

  • Unfortunately we cannot dogs on and around the campsite for hygiene and safety reasons, however well behaved dogs are more than welcome in the pub.

  • We are currently constructing a communal shower block available for guests in 2026.

  • No, this is a non-electric, back-to-nature campsite.

  • Yes, the pub has sockets for charging and wi-fi you are welcome to use.

  • our pitches are snug, especially by the river. If you’d like extra space or a more tucked-away feel, our forest floor pitches or cabins offer more privacy.

  • We keep a small stock of essentials, including:

    • Kiln-dried logs, firelighters, kindling

    • Giant marshmallows and skewers

    • Bottled beers

    • Crisps and snacks

    • Fresh food e.g. bread, milk, eggs and bacon

    • Torch

    • Warm layers (it can get chilly at night)

    • Towels

    • Sensible shoes (ford and woodlands)

  • Yes , as long as it’s raised off the ground to protect the grass.

  • The Wi-Fi signal is limited in the fields, but you can access Wi-Fi in the pub.

  • The cabins use the same toilets and showers as the campsite.

    They do have:

    • Beds with linen

    • A heater

    • A small fridge

    • Tea and coffee making facilities

    • A balcony area

    They’re a cosy step up from canvas, but still simple.
