The Crown Inn & Campsite

Llanfihangel Glyn Myfyr, North Wales

For around 300 years, The Crown Inn has welcomed people travelling through this part of North Wales.

Set above the River Alwen in Llanfihangel Glyn Myfyr, meaning the valley of meditation, The Crown Inn began life as a Welsh drovers’ inn and has long been a place to stop, gather and share time together.

With original oak beams and granite floors, it’s now a village pub with a riverside campsite, run by Jo and Derry.

“We wanted to create a place people love spending time in. We care about the details that matter — good food, refreshing drinks, and a place that feels easy to be in. The river and the setting do the rest. If people leave feeling looked after, we’ve done our job.”

Jo & Derry

Whether you’re stopping in for a pint, staying a few nights by the river, or meeting friends for supper, you’ll find a place that’s been welcoming people for centuries.
